AnneMarie McComb, Principal at NOVA Impact and Attorney at Thompson Co.
An Austin native, AnneMarie is an attorney focused on personal injury and medical malpractice defense. AnneMarie is passionate about increasing awareness in the community about autoimmune diseases, particularly with women and young adults. AnneMarie was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis when she was sixteen years old and translated this experience into fundraising for the Arthritis Foundation. Her experiences with her own health problems in addition to other autoimmune issues in her family pushed her to use her resources to bring awareness to similar issues in the community on a local and national level. She is particularly passionate about public health care education and public access to health care.
With an understanding of the corporate and nonprofit sectors, AnneMarie serves as the Vice Chair for the next gen advisory board for Keep Families Giving where she manages a portfolio of next gen givers and investors passionate about a variety of issue areas. In this role AnneMarie developed experience empowering a givers network to fundraise, invest, and lead community initiatives on a global scale.
In the role of Principal of NOVA Impact AnneMarie is looking forward to sharing her skills to help others in the nonprofit and corporate worlds develop transformational rather than transactional strategies to foster a thriving community of next gens wanting to create real impact in the world. AnneMarie also enjoys working with next gen social enterprise founders committed to social justice and healthcare intiatives.
